TOURNAMENT FORMAT

About

Drivers will first need to go through a time-trial phase that will be take place online across 8 to 10 days for each round. Times will be captured on the online leaderboard.

Qualification will take place on these dates and platforms.

After the qualifying rounds and all drivers have recorded their fastest time, the top 10 drivers with the fastest times will advance to the Final of that round.

After each qualification period for each round, the top 10 drivers with the fastest times will advance to an on-ground final to be held at Axle Academy.

The finals will take place on these dates and platforms.

After these three rounds, Champions for the Junior and Club classes will be determined based on points. They will not compete in Round 4.

The top 40 Pro drivers in the championship standings will advance to the Quarterfinals of Round 4.

About

After three rounds are completed, the top 40 in the championship standings will be invited to compete in a one-day online Quarterfinals held on 13 September. Drivers will be seeded and drawn into four groups of 10. Only 5 racers from the four groups will move on to the Semifinals.

The 20 finalists will first be seeded and drawn into two groups of 10 racers and complete a qualifying round to confirm their grid positioning. Once the grid is confirmed, each group will go head-to-head over two races.

The top 5 placing (1st-5th) of each group with the highest points will advance to the Grand Finals the following next day.

The 10 finalists will go wheel-to-wheel in a thrilling best-of-three races, with each race carrying points. The driver with the highest points after competing in all four rounds will be crowned the Pro Driver Champion of the Toyota GR Malaysia eRacing Championship. The driver with the most points after competing in Round 4 only will be named the Champion of Toyota GR GT Cup Malaysia 2025. The top three drivers of Round 4 will represent Malaysia in the regional competition GT Cup Asia 2025.
