How do I locate a Toyota Showroom or Toyota Service Centre? You can find a Toyota Showroom or Service Centre using the Sales & Service Locator tool at the top navigation bar on our website.
Our Sales & Service locator is integrated with Google Maps to ensure that you will be able to find your way there. View the tutorial on “View Tutorial”. -
What are the operating hours of Toyota Showrooms or Toyota Service Centres? The standard operating hours of Toyota Showrooms & Service Centres are Mondays – Fridays at 8:00am – 5:30pm. On Saturdays & Sundays, the operating hours vary according to the individual outlets.
For outlets in Kuala Terengganu and Kelantan, operating hours are Sundays – Thursdays at 8:00am – 5:30pm. Please call the specific outlets should you wish to drop by on Friday or Saturday.
You may get contact number for all Toyota Showrooms & Services Centres through the Sales & Service Locator. -
I want someone to collect my vehicle for servicing. Is there a “Pick Up & Delivery Service” in my area? Yes, we do offer the “Pick Up & Delivery Service”. However, this service is only offered at selected Toyota Service Centres. You may call the Service Centre closest to you OR call 1800-8-TOYOTA (869682) to check if “Pick Up & Delivery Service” is available in your area.

How do I find out what specific services are offered at each Toyota Service Centre? All you have to do is select your desired types of Service Products (Express Maintenance, Body Shine, Vehicle Interior, etc) from the Service Locator to find the closest Toyota Service Centre that suits your needs. -
I’m not sure what the list of “Services available” mean in the Service Locator. This means that the particular Service Centre provides you with specific services as listed below. Services available at Service Centres may vary.
Advanced Maxcheck and Basic Maxcheck:
Advanced Maxcheck is a comprehensive service package that ensures that your Toyota is serviced appropriately, based on its age and mileage. Express Maintenance:
Have your Toyota serviced by our technicians in just an hour. Only selected Service Centres offer Express Maintenance so be sure to make an appointment beforehand. Click here to view details.
Early Bird Service:
Drop off your Toyota at our Service Centres even before operating hours or if you like, the night before. It’s safe and convenient so you won’t have to go through traffic. Click here to view Service Centres with Early Bird Service.
Pick Up & Delivery Service:
For a small fee, we’ll pick up your Toyota, have it serviced, and return it to your doorstep. Call 1800-8-TOYOTA (869682) to find out if you are in our coverage area. Click here for more information. .
Body Shine:
Due to climate conditions, it is recommended that your Toyota goes for an occasional wax to bring out its shine again. Click here to view the different packages available for your selection.
Vehicle Interior Detailing Service:

Can I book my service appointment online? Yes, you can make a service appointment online. You must be a Tribe Toyota member in order to make an appointment online. Click here for more information on Tribe Toyota. -
Do I receive notifications or reminders on my upcoming service visit? Besides the sticker on your windshield screen, we do send out reminders from time-to-time via SMS or phone calls. Also, Tribe Toyota members will receive email notifications.

When should I send my Toyota for service? An individual driving under normal conditions only need to bring their Toyota in for servicing after every 6 months or after every 10,000km (whichever comes first) under the Advanced Maxcheck package.
However, if your Toyota has been used under Severe Driving Conditions, you should send it in for servicing every 3 months or after every 5,000km (whichever comes first).

I would like to know the cost of my MaxCheck service. How can I find this information? If you are a registered Tribe Toyota member, this information can be found on your online journal. Alternatively, you may call your designated Toyota Service Centre for exact details. -
Can I service my Prius at any Toyota Service Centre? Only selected Toyota Service Centres are dedicated to service the Prius. For a list of Toyota Service Centres, click here. -
What type of engine oil is used for the Advanced and Basic Maxcheck service? We offer a wide range of engine oil and customers are allowed to choose their preferred type. Please click here for more info. -
How would I know if replacement parts are available and how long would I have to wait if they are not? It’s best to bring your Toyota into the Service Centre for inspection. Our service advisor will be able to advise you from thereon. -
Can I purchase parts elsewhere and have them installed at Toyota Service Centres? We would advise against putting your Toyota at risk by using counterfeit parts. Your vehicle will benefit on safety and reliability when you install Toyota Genuine Parts in it. All parts installed by Toyota Service Centres are genuine Toyota Parts directly from Toyota parts warehouse. Click here for more info. -
Are there any discounts if additional paint work is done on more than one area of my car? Yes, customers will enjoy discounts if additional spray work is done on more than one area of their car. For more information, fell free to browse through the Body & Paint section. -
How would I know if my Toyota is compatible with RON95? All Toyota vehicles are RON95 compatible.

After my purchase, how long will I have to wait before my vehicle is available? You may check with your preferred Toyota Showroom on availability as well as vehicle delivery period. -
How can I find out the trade-in value of my vehicle? You may browse through TopMark for further information. However, please note that TopMark only accepts trade-ins for customers who wish to purchase a Toyota from us. -
Are there any tax exemptions for foreigners purchasing a Toyota? Yes, there is. The Malaysia My Second Home (MM2H) programme offers a tax-free vehicle purchase programme to foreigners who reside in Malaysia. Find out more about the MM2H programme.

What is the Share This function and how do I use it? The Share This function allows you to select your favourite Toyota feature to share it on your preferred social networking sites like Twitter and Facebook. To share, click on the Twitter and/or Facebook icon found at the bottom of each Toyota feature. It will automatically lead you to your Twitter/Facebook page and you may edit your message before posting it. -
Do I need to fill in my personal information to use the social sharing function? No. We do not collect ANY details from these social networking sites so no personal information is collected or given out. You will need to use your existing Facebook or Twitter account to use these functions. -
How do I access the Toyota mobile website from my phone? There is a mobile version of the Toyota website that shows only the most important information on your phone. Simply log on to www.toyota.com.my and you will automatically be directed to our mobile website. -
The Toyota website doesn’t load properly on my computer. Why is that? The Toyota.com.my website is built to work best on Internet Explorer and Firefox. You may download or update these browsers here (Internet Explorer) or here (Firefox). To view the website, you will need to install Adobe Flash player version 10. You can download it here. What is Tribe Toyota? Tribe Toyota is the official Toyota community catered to Toyota owners across Malaysia. As a member, the website becomes your gateway to a fun lifestyle where you can organise, talk about, and take part in a variety of adventure and family activities. Through your participation online as well as in the events, you make friends and share the excitement with like-minded people who own similar vehicles in the Toyota family. -
How do I become a Tribe Toyota member? Membership is open to the following Toyota customers:
• Private individual vehicle owners of a Toyota purchased from UMW Toyota Motor and its authorised dealers
The registered Tribe Toyota member's information will need to match the vehicle owner's particulars. If you fulfil the membership requirements, create your ID to be part of the online community here. -
Do I have to pay a joining fee? No. There are no fees at all for joining Tribe Toyota. There may be participation fees for events that have to be borne by members, but these fees are incurred only if you choose to join the selected events. -
How long is my membership for? You may remain a member of Tribe Toyota as long as you own a vehicle distributed by UMW Toyota Motor and its authorised dealers. If you have sold your vehicle, and the new owner has registered their membership with us, we shall update the ownership information accordingly upon verification. -
I am a second-hand owner of a UMW Toyota Motor vehicle. Can I join Tribe Toyota? Yes, as long as your vehicle was distributed by UMW Toyota Motor and its authorised dealers. -
I forgot my Tribe Toyota username and password. What should I do? If you’ve forgotten your password, click on “Forgot Password” at the member login. Fill in your details and a new password will be sent to your email. After logging in, you may change your password to something to your liking. -
Why is it important to update my profile and how do I do it? Having your latest details in our database ensures that you won’t miss important announcements or updates from us. To update your profile, first, log in. Then go to My Toyota and I > My Profile > Edit Profile. -
Can my friends who are non-Toyota owners join Tribe Toyota events? Tribe Toyota events are primarily for the benefit of Tribe Toyota members and their families. However, some events are open to friends as well. Please check the specific event details or enquire with the relevant event organisers.

What is Toyota Merit? Toyota Merit is an exclusive, by invitation-only programme created specifically to reward our loyal customers. -
How do I become a Toyota Merit member? Every new Toyota purchased is automatically accorded a certain amount of Merits. Whenever you service your vehicle at a Toyota Service Centre, every Ringgit on your invoice equals 1 Toyota Merit. Once you accumulate 4,000 Toyota Merits, you will be invited to join the Toyota Merit Programme*.
*Invitations to be a Toyota Merit member is subject to the sole discretion of UMW Toyota Malaysia. -
What benefits do I get if I join Toyota Merit? Being a Merit member comes with special privileges like:
• Priority delivery of a new Toyota

What do I do with my Toyota Merit points? Toyota Merits have no cash value. Their purpose is to qualify you for membership. They expire 5 years from the month earned. -
How do I renew my Toyota Merit membership? Your membership will be automatically renewed if you fulfil any one of the following criteria within 2 years from the month of joining/ renewal:
• Purchase a new Toyota, OR;
• Service* at least 4 times (all 4 service invoices must total up to a minimum of RM1,000), OR;
• Incur a minimum of RM5,000 for component/ accident repairs at authorised Toyota Service Centres (excluding insurance claims) -
I own a company-registered Toyota. Why do I always have 0 Toyota Merits? Toyota Merits are only awarded to individual private registered Toyota owners. -
